Module 3 Slide Deck!

Engaging Students with Shapes in Eureka Math SQUARED Module 3!

Module 3 of Eureka Math SQUARED is a fantastic way to get students excited about exploring the attributes of two- and three-dimensional shapes. If you're looking to make this module even more interactive, my supplemental slides are designed to enhance the learning experience with a blend of visual aids, structured activities, and pacing tools that support you and your students from start to finish.

What’s Included in the Module 3 Supplemental Slides

  1. Interactive Slides for Easy Lesson Flow
These slides visually guide students through the lesson, making complex concepts easier to follow and creating a structured pace to keep everyone on track. With vibrant and clear visuals, students can see each shape’s attributes as they learn, making the lesson feel like a visual story.

  2. Engaging Activities to Reinforce Learning

    • Four Corners Games: These games are perfect for getting students up and moving, helping them explore and identify shapes interactively.

    • Turn & Talk with “PB&J” Partners: I use “Peanut Butter & Jelly” partners to help students find easy, familiar pairings for discussion. Each turn & talk slide includes question prompts, so students can dive deeper into the topic while working with their PB&J partners. There’s even a special teacher slide with tips on using PB&J partners effectively to create meaningful learning discussions.

  3. Vocabulary Slides and Anchor Charts
With so many new vocabulary terms in this topic, I created slides that can be printed as anchor charts and displayed around the classroom. Each chart includes not only the term but also picture reminders to help students retain the information. Having these visual cues accessible helps reinforce vocabulary over time and gives students the confidence to use the new terms accurately.

Whether you're starting the lesson, keeping the class focused, or reviewing vocabulary, these supplemental slides offer a comprehensive way to enrich Module 3. Give your students the tools to succeed as they explore shapes in an interactive, hands-on environment that builds both knowledge and enthusiasm for math!

Kinder Kid at Heart

I've been a teacher for 16 years! I am Nationally Board Certified in Early Childhood Education and have worked hard each day to meet the needs of each student in my classroom! I taught Kindergarten for 13 years and transitioned to Gifted 1st Grade (2nd Grade curriculum). I loved both grade levels & have made many resources to help my students (and me!) be successful! I also enjoy traveling, eating yummy meals (IG: my.food.source to follow along with the meals my BF makes!) and trying new things.
