Random Acts of Kindness Day 4: P.E. Teacher!
Kindness Challenge Day 4: Create a Holiday Banner for the P.E. Teacher! 🎨🎉
Today’s challenge is all about teamwork and creativity as we make a colorful holiday banner for our amazing P.E. teacher to hang in the gym! 🏀✨ This banner will spread cheer to every student who visits, and the kids are always so proud to see their hard work on display.
How it Works:
1️⃣ Each student decorates one (or more) big, bold letters that spell out a special holiday message. I love using fonts like Londrina Shadow and Bungee Shade from Google Slides—perfect for coloring in and adding a personal touch!
2️⃣ The Kindness Challenger (our magical mascot) holds a mini version of the sign to show what the final banner will say. This helps us put the letters in the correct order! 🖍️
3️⃣ Once the letters are decorated, we gather them together and attach them to large banner paper. I use hot glue to keep things quick and easy!
4️⃣ Students sign their names on the finished banner, making it even more special. Then we parade down the hallway, proudly carrying the banner to surprise the P.E. teacher! 🏋️🎁
Teacher Tips for Day 4:
✅ Prep Ahead: Print the letters, the Kindness Challenger’s mini sign, and the Challenge Letter & Thank You Note. Have large banner paper, hot glue, and Teacher Tape ready.
✅ Set a Timer: I usually give 5-7 minutes for coloring to keep the energy focused and fun.
✅ Coordinate with the P.E. Teacher: Make sure they’re available when you deliver the banner.
✅ Optional Gift: Add a fun touch by including slap bracelets as a surprise!
Watching my students light up with pride and excitement when they see their creation in the gym is always the highlight of this challenge. 🌟 Kindness really does make the season brighter!
